You send a short trip request through the form on this site. Ellie comes back with a personal note and a proposed plan, usually within a few days. From there it’s a conversation — adjusting the pace, the stops and the budget until it feels right — before anything gets booked.

Bookings run through our affiliated travel agency group, which is affiliated with ANVR, SGR and the Calamiteitenfonds — the standard financial protection schemes for Dutch travel agencies. You’ll always book with that protection in place, never directly and unprotected with Ellie personally.

Sometimes a little, sometimes not at all — it depends on the trip. What you’re paying for is the time saved, local knowledge that isn’t on booking sites, and someone to call if a flight gets cancelled at 6am. Every proposal is transparent about what’s included.

For a considered, well-planned trip, three to six months ahead gives the most room to find the right options. That said, get in touch regardless of your timeline — shorter notice is often still possible.

Cancellation and change conditions follow the terms of the specific airlines, hotels and operators booked for your trip, and are explained clearly before you confirm anything. Ellie will always tell you upfront which parts of a plan are flexible and which aren’t.
